Objective
This mindfully curated Nature and Forest Therapy Camp Gathering will help you unplug and reset, allowing you to reconnect with yourself and with Mother Earth. Offering intentional activities and workshops, this weekend will include reflective journaling, an art therapy workshop, and a forest therapy walk, followed by campfire chats and games. We will arrive in the evening Friday (10/14_ where we will set up, and offer an introductory fire gathering. Saturday morning (10/15) we will arise as a group and dive into a morning reflection / journaling session. Art Therapy - Creating Memories in Nature will begin shortly after. We will then offer Forest Therapy in the afternoon, followed by dinner by campfire with chats and games. Sunday (10/16) we will wake up for another journaling session, and look to head out by noon.
Location
The Heart Bar Campground provides access to some of southern California's greatest backcountry hiking, biking and horseback riding trails, as well as a nice play to experience nature. A variety of recreation opportunities are available in the surrounding area as well, leaving little more to be desired from a campsite. Natural Features: The campground is nestled among pine-covered mountains, at an elevation of 6,880 feet. It is not far from Big Bear Lake, but far enough to retain a remote and secluded atmosphere.
